Smackdown Members: Dan - Vocals Joe - Guitars/Vocals Mark K - Rhythm Guitar/Vocals Mark T - Bass/Vocals Jose - Drums/Percussion/Vocals About the Band: The band originally formed around Thanksgiving time 2001. Smackdown members Matt, Roy and LeRoy have since left the band to pursue other musical projects which left Joe and Jose to replace the three members. Joe knew Mark K (guitar) and Mark T (bass) which filled out two of the spots. Joe then was able to contact Dan through an open ad. The group immediately showed that it had good chemistry among the new members. We had the full band together a few weeks before our first show and worked hard to learn a setlist & make it rock. We are looking forward to seeing you at a show and having a great time! Music: We mainly play alternative rock. We actually don't like using the word "alternative rock" to describe the music we play. The term "alternative rock" is suppose to narrow things down a bit, but we think it can be confusing. We think of our music of more as being just good old ROCK!!! We also like to use the terms "new rock" and "party rock" as well, since we try hard to turn every show into a party. For now we're pretty much doing covers, but we have originals in the making. Some of the bands that we cover are: Audioslave, Creed, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Lit, Nickelback, Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. Check out the songlist page for more.
